Effective June 9th, 2023 Family 1st Living residents in the Second Addition community will have their trash serviced by Air Capital Waste. We are excited to announce this change as a result of our efforts to keep lot rent at an affordable rate for our residents, as well as to continue to support local small businesses. There are a few things to note for our residents:
· Final Pick Up - Waste Connections will pick up for the final time on Thursday June 8th. Please leave your carts at the street.
· Cart Collection - Family 1st Living will be collecting all Waste Connections trash carts beginning the morning of Friday June 9th.
· New Carts - Air Capital Waste will be dropping new carts off on Friday June 9th.
· Service Day - Air Capital Waste will provide trash service for the first time on Wednesday June 14th and will continue to pick up on Wednesdays.
· Where should I set my trash carts? By 6:00 AM on your service day, please place your trash cart within 2 feet of the curb, 2 feet away from other objects (such as your recycling cart, trees, mailboxes, etc.) and at least 6 feet away from vehicles parked on the street. Ensure that your cart is clear of any overhead obstructions.
· What if I have extra trash, bulky items or need a special pick up? Please contact Air Capital Waste at (316) 838-5465 to schedule extra trash, bulk items or a special pick up. Additional fees may apply.
· How do I contact Air Capital Waste? Contact information, as well as the holiday schedule, can be found on their website at https://aircapitalwaste.com/.
· I pay for an extra cart. Will I still get an extra cart? Yes, you are scheduled to have 2 carts dropped off for your use.
